Jika International Theatre Summit

Jika International Theatre Summit, “Building Markets for Black Theatre” hosted by Jika Performing Arts is a Think Tank reconvening and celebrating legendary models that have worked in sustaining the existence of Black Theatre in the continent. 

The Summit will further assess the state of Black Theatre funding, resources and opportunities. Due to various creative and business intersections throughout the entertainment industry, Jika International Theatre Summit will include industry insiders, theatre makers, theatre producers, experts and scholar artists, practitioners in theatre, film, print and audio media.

Jika International Theatre Summit will convene all industry insiders to strategise the future of Black Theatre and continue telling stories across all platforms throughout the continent of Africa and Diaspora.
